On timesheets, your Position / Service / Pay Group relate to the rates setup that have been scheduled on the shift:
When arbitrating timesheets, it is important to ensure that the timesheet has a Position, Service and Pay Rate setup:

On timesheets the person icon signifies the position that has been scheduled on the shift.

The PDF icon signifies the charge rate on the shift.

The dollar icon on the shift signifies the pay rate on the shift.
You can override any of these on a shift and the rates will update accordingly:
When updating the position, this will also change by default the pay and charge rate on the shift based on what has been set up on the pay template and service rate setup for the site.
Please note that when overriding the pay rate on a shift, if the rate is configured on this site as a site specific rate, it will pull down this rate onto the shift. However if this pay group is not setup on the shift, it will pull down the default rate configured on the pay group.
