We have introduced some highly requested functionality to the Timesheets page to improve and speed up the approval process.
First, we have introduced the 'Actions' dropdown which contains all the new selectable options.
We have also moved the '+New Entry', Settings and 'Export Logs' buttons into the 'Actions' dropdown.
Approve all matching shifts
- Approve all matching shifts allows you to mass approve all unapproved shifts that match the scheduled times after a rounding process, leaving only the exceptions to review.
Use all Timeclock times
- When selected this will move all completed timeclock shift times (clocked in and out) into the 'Start', 'End', and 'Break' section.
Use all scheduled times
- When selected this will change all unapproved shifts to use the scheduled times in the 'Start', 'End', and 'Break' section.
Round to 5 minutes
- This will round all unapproved 'Start' and 'End' times to nearest 5-minute block. Best used in conjunction with the 'Use all Timeclock times' process.
Round to 10 minutes
- This will round all unapproved 'Start' and 'End' times to nearest 10-minute block. Best used in conjunction with the 'Use all Timeclock times' process.
Round to 15 minutes
- This will round all unapproved 'Start' and 'End' times to nearest 15-minute block. Best used in conjunction with the 'Use all Timeclock times' process.
An example of your approval process using this new functionality could be;
Click 'Actions' > "Select Use Timeclock times'
> Select 'Actions' > Round to desired interval
> 'Actions' > 'Approve all matching shifts'
This would approve all shifts that after rounding, match the scheudled times, leaving you with just the exceptions to manage.
