Pre- Requisite: An Admin and Manager access privilege is required to access and create a schedule template.
One of the cool features on the schedule page is creating and using a template. Having a roster template will save you more time on creating a weekly schedule.
How to Save Template
Once you created the base schedule, you can save it as a template and load it to the week you wanted. You can follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the week that you wanted to use as a base schedule.
- Click Actions.
- Click Save template from the drop down menu.
4. You can then see a new dialog box. On this box, you will need to fill out the information as per below.
- Template Name
- Description
- Remove staff from shifts.
- Include day notes.
- Include shift notes.
5. Hit Save to apply the changes.
How to Load a Template
You can now use the template that you save and you can follow the instructions below.
- Navigate to the week where you would like to load/use the template you created using the right arrow key.
- Click Actions.
- Click Load template from the drop-down menu.
4. A new dialog box will appear. You can then select the template that you would like to load on that week. You can then select the information you would like to remove as per the following.
- Remove staff from shifts.
- Remove availability
- Remove day notes.
- Remove shift notes.
- Remove custom service rate.
- Remove custom rate.
5. Click Load template.
6. Hit Save to finalize the changes.
7. If you are good with the shift, you can then publish it and notify your staff.
How to Delete a Schedule Template
You can follow the instruction below on how to delete a schedule template..
- Click Actions.
- Click Load template from the drop down menu
- Click the bin icon.
- Click the small check icon to compplete the template deletion.
