The Customer Portal feature gives your customers view-only access to various information available in the system such as incident reports, the clock in/out of guards, approved timesheets, and company details.
To use this feature, just follow these steps:
- Go to Organization
- Select Customers from the drop-down
- Click on the Customer Portal tab
- Click +Customer Account
- Add the first name and last name of the customer you want to share information with
- Choose which site/s (static and patrol) you want the customer to view
- Tick the "Show live clock-ins" box if this information you want to share the Live Operations information with your customer
- Tick the "Share all Incident Reports to Portal" box if you want to automatically share submitted Incident Reports (static, patrols, occurrence logs) with your customer as soon as they are submitted. If you prefer to check incident reports before forwarding them to your customers, you can still manually share the incident reports on the Incidents section of GH.
- Add your customer's email address. NOTE: Ensure that the email address is not used by anyone on your Staff list to avoid any errors in creating access to the customer portal.
- Click on the Save icon
- Choose the envelope icon to send the invitation to view the customer portal.
It is important to note that each Customer Portal requires at least 1 Static Site to be invited.
Customer Portal access cannot be provided for only Patrol Sites.
If you want to limit the information you share, follow these steps:
- Go to Organization
- Choose Company from the drop-down
- Go to Settings and click on Customer Portal
- Toggle on only the information you wish to share:
- Show Incident Report in the Customer Portal
- Show Venue Analytics in the Customer Portal
- Show Timesheets for approval in the Customer Portal
- Show Checkpoint Reports in the Customer Portal
- Show Subcontractor Master licences in the Customer Portal
- Show Company Details on the Customer Portal
