There is no option to delete a customer in Guardhouse once it is added to the system. However, a customer can be deactivated following these steps:

  • Go to Organization
  • Choose Customers from the drop-down
  • Chose the customer you wish to deactivate and click the De-Activate button


Once a customer is deactivated, it will be moved to the Inactive customer list along with all the information attached to it.

What are the implications of deactivating a customer?

There are a few things that will be affected when a customer is deactivated. All information related to the deactivated customer will no longer show. This includes: 
  • All the sites under the deactivated customer
  • All shifts under the deactivated customer
  • All timesheets and invoices under the deactivated customer
What happens when a customer is reactivated? 
All data pertaining to the customer (sites, shifts, timesheets, invoices) will once again show.
