Assigning pay rates staff members assists with building a cost on schedule and can be exported to ensure team members are paid properly.


Prerequisite: 


-Admin and Manager with the ability to access Pay rates will be able to assign the pay rate to the staff members.

- The account should have the Pay rates built to assign a pay rate to the staff.  You can check this article on how to Set up Pay Rates.


To Add A Salary/Wage, you can follow these simple steps.

  1. Go to the Staff Profile.
  2. Click the Salary/Wages tab.
  3. Select the Pay Calendar applicable for the staff.
  4. Select Payroll ID, if you are using Xero/MYOB. This is important so Guardhouse can pull details from your Payroll accounting package.
  5. Select the Pay Template you would need to assign to the staff. 
  6. If your staff has a different rate on what is created under the template, you can edit it as well.Just  click the create a custom template and edit the rates.
  7. Set the effectivity date of the Pay rates that you set.
  8. Hit Save to apply the changes.
