Guardhouse has introduced a new feature designed to streamline the procedure of approving Leave: the Leave on Schedule.

Here’s how it works: When a leave request is submitted or created and enters the approval process, a warning sign will appear that can be hovered over to indicate whether there is a scheduled shift on the day for which leave has been requested. As usual, you can adjust the leave times to align with the actual shift schedule before toggling the approval button. The only additional step is to ensure that the checkbox labeled “Remove staff from shifts that conflict with approved leave” is selected. If this tick box is selected it will remove the staff from the rostered shift. This new process will also create a "leave shift" in blue for ease of visibility for operations.
