Effective planning is essential for managing staff schedules. That is why Guardhouse has introduced the Calendar View feature to help you see a complete overview of your team's weekly or monthly schedules, making rostering easier and more efficient. Follow the steps below to access and utilize this feature.


Steps to Access the Calendar View:

  1. Create Shifts
    On the Schedule page, create your shifts as you normally would.

  2. Access the Staff Schedule
    Next, click the information icon (i) beside the staff member's name.

  3. Choose a View
    After clicking the icon, you will have two options:

    • Profile View:
      This displays staff details including:
      • Contact information
      • Licences and compliance information
      • Validity of licences and compliance
      • Two-week schedule and total number of hours worked
    • Calendar View:
      This offers a detailed rolling monthly schedule with the following information:
      • Scheduled, published, confirmed, and rejected shifts
      • Unscheduled shifts
      • Clock-in and clock-out times (planned shift times, actual clock-in/out, submitted timesheets, and approved times)
      • Leave requests
      • Full and partial unavailability

The Calendar View feature is also available on other GH pages, such as:

  • Company > Organization > Staff > Calendar
  • Dashboard > Live Operations



Frequently Asked Questions


Q: Can I download the shifts as shown on the calendar?

A: The calendar cannot be downloaded at this time, but there are other reports available under the Reports section such as the Schedule Shift Status Report. 


Q: Will the Calendar show shifts from previous months/years? 

A: Yes, the Calendar will show past data.
