This feature needs to be enabled on the backend. Reach out to Guardhouse Support or your Success Manager to have this enabled and/or demoed. Please note that shifts can be requested by customers at least three (3) days in advance. For immediate shifts, customers will have to reach out to the company to have them add the shifts on their end.


1. Log in to your Guardhouse account and go to the Schedule page.


2. Click on the (+) icon to create a shift.


3. Adjust the start and end time of shifts as well as the service charge on the left-hand corner of the screen. The shift length and shift cost will also be available to view.


4. Once all shifts have been created, click on Save Requests.


5. Click Send Request.


6. Clicking the Send Request button will open a widget showing a breakdown of the request. The customer can add notes here for the company to see. Click Publish to send the request to the company.


7. A summary will show the total number of shifts requested, hours, and cost.


8. Once the company allocates staff members to the shifts, these will be reflected on the customer portal in real time.
