One of the common issues security guards or staff encounter is not being able to clock-in or out of their shift. Some common causes for this can be due to internet problems or from the staff member leaving the geographical fence.



MOBILE DATA OR INTERNET CONDITIONS


Ensure that you have good to strong data internet connection when you clock in or out. Connecting to Wifi also helps. 



GEOGRAPHICAL FENCE


Guardhouse Mobile Time Clock ensures that your start and end times are recorded correctly. We use GPS technology to ensure that you are on site when start and finish your shift. It is important to understand that Guardhouse does not track your location and movements.


Your employer or shift manager who also serves as the admin of your Guardhouse account sets a boundary where every staff should be within 100 to 200 meters of the assigned work site or duty location. You should be able to clock in and out within that radius. This is what you call a Geo Fence to ensure that a staff or security guard is within the work location or assigned venue.
