Pathway: Organization > Company > Company Settings > General > Shift Confirmation
This feature allows the staff of GH customers to confirm or reject a shift that has been sent to them through the mobile app or the website.
There are different options when using this feature:
1. Turn off Shift Confirmation
When this option is taken, there would be no ability to see the Confirm and Reject button on the GH mobile app under My Roster.
2. Turn on Shift Confirmation and allow rejection of shifts
The staff can confirm or reject a shift through the GH mobile app, and there is no time limit as to when they can reject a shift. In cases where the staff accidentally rejects a shift, they can still click on the Confirm button to override the initially rejected shift. However, once a shift is confirmed, the Reject button can no longer be used for that shift that was confirmed. The staff would need to speak to their manager to have the confirmed shift canceled.
If the staff want to confirm all their shifts for the week, there is a Confirm All button at the bottom for convenience.
If a shift is rejected, it will come up as red on the Schedule page. It’s green when the shift is confirmed.
3. Turn on Shift Confirmation and turn off rejection of shifts
In this setup, only the Confirm button will show on the My Roster page.
4. Turn on Shift Confirmation and auto confirm subcontractor shifts
When this feature is turned on, all shifts for subcontractor staff will automatically be confirmed when a shift is published out. This auto-confirm feature can be done when the subcontractor does not have GH and there is no loop for the client and the subcontractor. The confirmation for the client will come directly from the subcontractors on whether or not the subcontractor guard confirmed the shift.

Is it possible for the staff to show up as both confirmed and unconfirmed on the Dashboard's Staff Confirmation page?
Yes, it is possible for the staff to show up as both Confirmed and Unconfirmed on the Staff Confirmation page. This will depend on whether or not the staff confirmed all of their shifts for the week or just some of them.
Can a GH admin/manager confirm a shift for a staff?
Yes, an admin/manager can manually confirm or reject a shift of the staff on the Dashboard if there is a need to do so. Just ensure that the proper settings are turned on.
Can the staff cancel a shift that was confirmed by mistake?
No. Once a shift is confirmed, there is no way to reject it on the GH mobile app. The only way would be to contact the GH admin/manager to have the confirmed shift canceled.
