For the top company, here are the steps for shift sharing.
- Ensure that the sites have been shared with your subcontractor
- Go to Organization and select Subcontractor from the dropdown
- Choose the linked subcontractor and click on the Site Sharing subtab
- Tick on all the sites you would like to share or delegate to your subcontractor
- Hit Save
- Under the Subcontractor Details subtab, go to Linked notification from customer and allocate the person who will be receiving notifications related to a shared shift.
- Create shared shifts in three ways.
- Create a shift and assign a subcontractor
- On the Schedule page, choose the customer and create a shift for a shared site.
- Set the Start and End times for the shift (cannot be changed by the subcontractor
- Under the staff list, select the name of the subcontractor (Stellar Protective Services)
- Save changes
- Click on shift sharing and select Send shift / updates
- The subcontractor will receive the shared shift, allocate a staff to the shift, send back the shift to you or publish the shifts on their end
- Create a shift and assign a preferred staff
- First off, ensure that Stellar has shared their staff to you.
- Go to Organization and select Staff from the dropdown
- Under the list of active staff, you should see beside the name of your subcontracted staff the Linked icon. If not, please request from your subcontractor to share their staff with you. If they need help, please have them contact us so we can assist them.
- Once you have your shared staff, you can now create a shared shift as normal:
- On the Schedule page, choose the customer and create a shift for a shared site.
- Set the Start and End time for the shift (this cannot be changed by the subcontractor)
- Under the staff list, select the name of the shared staff under the subcontractor
- Save changes
- Click on shift sharing and select Send shift / updates
- The subcontractor will receive the shared shift and either retain the preferred staff you chose or change the staff then send back the shift to you or publish it
- First off, ensure that Stellar has shared their staff to you.
- Delegate subcontractor to create the shift and manage the time, staff allocation, and publishing of the shift
- Ensure that your subcontractor has been delegated
- Go to Organization and select Subcontractor
- Select the subcontractor from the active subcontractor list and click the Site Sharing subtab
- Go to the site shared and click on Delegate
- Hit Save
- Once you have delegated a subcontractor, they can now create the shifts on their end and send the updates to you. They can also publish the shifts and you’ll see the orange shifts on your end
- Ensure that your subcontractor has been delegated
- Create a shift and assign a subcontractor
Please note that for changes made to a shift, a notification will be sent to whoever is designated to receive the update. We are still continuously working on improving the reporting end of this subcontractor sharing feature.
