To facilitate a more efficient rostering process between companies, Guardhouse has come up with the Subcontractor Sharing (Subbie Sharing) feature. This aims to minimize, if not eliminate, the back and forth communication between companies.

How does Subbie Sharing work?

The idea of Subbie Sharing is simple. A top company is linked to a subcontracting company in Guardhouse. Once this is done, the top company creates a shift with a set time and site and then shares the shifts down to the subcontractor. The subcontractor then allocates a guard to a shift and sends the shift back up to the top company or immediately publishes it out.

On the guard's end, he will only now need to log in to the Guardhouse subcontractor account (no more switching companies) and confirm his shift. Both the top company and the subcontracting company will see any changes to a shift live.

This is how a shared shift looks at the top company's end once it's created.
